Student leadership workshop held in Khulna

A daylong workshop titled ‘Leadership Exploration and Development (LEAD’) was held at a hotel in Khulna on Saturday for the students of distinguished schools in the city.
The workshop was organised by Thoughts, a leading Training Institute of Dhaka and KK Foundation, a promising NGO of Bangladesh, says a press release..
The purpose of this workshop was to empower high school students to enhance their potential and maximize their performance by excelling in communication and leadership skills as well as developing positive attitude and proactive contribution to the betterment of their schools. Total 48 students from four top performing schools in Khulna participated in the event. The four leading schools are– Govt Coronation Secondary Girls’ School, Govt Khulna Zilla School, Govt Model High School and St Joseph’s High School.
The workshop was conducted by a team of professional trainers from Thoughts, a training firm stationed in Dhaka and KK Foundation along with SSC ’97 alumni from Khulna. The workshop was free of cost and participating students received certificate of participation at the end of the workshop. Md Ziaur Rahman Khan, representative of St Joseph’s High School Khulna and owner of Farzia BD gave the welcome speech and inaugurate the workshop. The workshop was conducted by Md Mahbubul Alom, Thoughts Chairman and Sifat E Azam, Executive Director, KK Foundation.
An encouraging speech was given by Mahbub Hasan, SEO, SIBL and representative of Khulna Model High School. Motivational speech was given by Architect Ashraful Alam Ahmed, representative from SSC 97-HSC 99 Alumni. The administrative part of the workshop was taken care by Nazir Ahmed, ED, Thoughts, Syed Feroz Hossain Razon, Metlife, Md Jewel, CupPirich. At the end of the program Kazi Sony representative from Khulna Zilla School gave a vote of thanks and conclude the ceremony.
